S&P and Dow close higher for 6th consecutive day

7-day NASDAQ win streak shattered today
The S&P squeaked a higher close. The Dow industrial average also closed higher. The day’s gains extended the bullish streak to 6 consecutive days. The NASDAQ index’s streak of 7 consecutive higher close was broken as it fell nearly 1% on the day.
