American stocks are back in the dark. European stocks generally end lower on the day

The fall in US stocks is stabilizing.

With Vice President Pence’s press conference, beating states like Arizona and Florida helped push the stocks into the dark. The S&P index is currently up 0.15%. The Dow is up 0.03%. The NASDAQ remained positive although the small percentage dropped to + 0.07%. The index is currently up 0.75%.

In Europe today, the main indices have closed for the most part, with the exception of Portugal with a gain of 0.54%. The declines were dominated by Spain which fell -1.62%. The latest figures show:

  • German DAX, -0.97%
  • CAC France, -1.24%
  • FTSE 100 in the UK, -0.55%
  • Spanish ibex, -1.62%
  • FTSE MIB in Italy, -0.57%
  • Portuguese PSI 20, + 0.54%
